When a client requests a full page ad project and then delivers a “Style Guide” to support it, we guarantee that the integrity of that brand name will be upheld in anything and everything we create. Style guides are folders or packets that layout a set of rules with pages of instructions, digital support files on CDs and DVDs that include high resolution images, illustration, fonts and character designs ready to be utilized when designing new art projects. New art might be needed for clothing, print, web or other promotional items – the style guide provides all the tools needed to produce the art, while at the same time keeping with the look of all the original designs.

Design:
Concept sketches are important for developing the basic ideas for a full page ad. Where will the headline have to be, where will the text be legible and what graphic elements will require room to breath so that copy can be read. Then, low resolution comp are produced to weed out any issues, create areas for communication and compromise – basically massaging the visual so that it accomplishes it’s goals.

Production:
The final high resolution full page ad production art was produced quickly. The style guide had all the high quality imagery available on CDs and DVDs, so a quick copy and paste was made possible. The largest amount of hi-res development was the sky and ground image – the style guide did not have a ground image that could accommodate the design. It was generated to fit the ad and follow the rules of the style guide.
