This is a full page magazine ad project that came with only the company logo. Also, there were no other items available online or in print to reference any kind a brand identity. Nobody had ever created anything for this company because it was just an idea at this stage. This magazine ad was the first step in the company’s marketing campaign, the next step was to build a cable station. This project needed a branded image, some sort of graphic element that matched or enhanced the iconic logo making it look presentable for the back cover of trade show magazine.

Design:
Photography research began right away. The significance of creating the identity of a cable station relied solely on the idea that there would be TV shows that would play, since their were none – imagery was key. Each image displayed the idea that the photograph was a show. The digital effect in the background was to enhance that concept. Three full page magazine ad concept sketches helped with the development of the design and the low resolution designs help determine what pictures were good enough to use for the final.

Production:
These images were note cheap to purchase for this full page magazine ad. They were purchased online and the contract licenses were modified to fit the needs of the client. The background is completely original and the effects that surround each image were meticulously masked out and created by hand within Photoshop.
